A 6-week catalytic experience for you to shift from being the problem solver to building the solvers—while you're actively leading.

Applied leadership experiments. Identity-level growth. No handholding.

Stay the strategic problem-solver you are. Learn to multiply that impact through others.

Know this feeling?

Know this feeling?

You didn’t get here by playing it safe.

You advanced because you saw opportunities where others saw chaos, took smart risks, and delivered results.

But something's shifted. For the first time, your sharp thinking isn't enough to lead people. You're finding yourself in rooms where influence matters more than competence; you need to bring people along (because the scale of what you're doing means you can't do it alone).

It's frustrating because you can see what needs to change, and you didn't sign up to become a leader who's all soft skills and no substance. You want to stay you—the person who can think strategically and solve complex problems. You just need to figure out how to do that while actually leading people, not just impressing them.

You're standing at the edge of a leadership transition that most high performers face—one that requires you to fundamentally shift how you view yourself and how you create value, not just what you do.

But few make this internal transformation with intention.  This is your opportunity.

What You'll Become

What You'll Become

By the end of Shift: From Hero to Leader, you'll have transformed both who you are as a leader and how others respond to you.

Internal Foundation

You'll have a leadership backbone that feels authentically yours, not copied from someone else's playbook. Leadership will no longer feel like performing; it'll feel rooted in your strengths, even under pressure.

You'll trust your judgment without needing to solve everything first. The second-guessing loop running in the back of your mind? You'll know how to turn it down and make faster decisions with clarity.

Leading Others

You'll influence without having all the answers...and loosen your death grip on your change vision. You'll build capability in others instead of creating dependency, so the weight of carrying initiatives alone will finally ease.

Your team and peers will respond differently to you. They'll feel your shift from anxiety-driven urgency to calm, strategic presence.  And they'll step up in ways that surprise you.

Your Support System

You'll have a tight circle of fellow leaders who really know you and are in your corner (sometimes with a mirror) as you become the leader you're capable of being.

What to expect

This is intensive personal development work, not a traditional leadership training course.

The skills that got you promoted aren't the issue. And you’ve likely had access to more than enough resources on how to lead.

What’s harder to name—but more important to shift—is how you’ve learned to create value, to see yourself, and prove you belong.

Those internal drives that made you successful now need to work differently. That's not a skills shift; it's an identity shift.

So no, there is no certificate at the end.  However, you'll walk away changed, both internally and in how your team, peers, and stakeholders experience you.

Here's what I promise you:

  • Radical acceptance of you, your strengths and your ability to transform yourself

  • A high-trust space where you can safely examine and challenge your current narrative around your leadership

  • Weekly applied leadership experiments to test new behaviours in your real work environment with an 'act and reflect' system—not just thinking about change

  • Honest, structured peer feedback from other leaders 'in the arena' alongside you

  • A rhythm and structure that builds momentum (without busywork)

  • Pre-program 1-1 consultation to set your foundation, plus up to two individual sessions as you navigate your shift, tailored to your unique leadership context and goals.

But here's what I won't do:

  • I won't give you a "10 steps to great leadership" framework

  • I won't tell you how you 'need' to lead

  • I won't track you down if you don't do the work

  • I won't pretend that your shift is linear, neat, or easy

You set the stakes.
You choose what to bring into the space.
You define what success looks like for you.

(If that excites you more than a traditional course—you’re in the right place).

FAQ

  • What if I can't attend a live session?

Life happens. While sessions aren't recorded (to maintain confidentiality), you'll have your peer pod to catch up on key insights and continue momentum with your experiments. We also build flexibility into the program structure so missing one session won't derail your progress (If you anticipate missing more than one session, this cohort timing may not be ideal for you).

  • How much time outside of sessions should I expect to invest?

Plan for 5-6 hours per week beyond live sessions: your weekly leadership experiment (integrated into your regular work), 30-45 minutes of reflection/journaling, peer pod calls, and occasional program materials review.

  • What if I'm between roles or starting a new position during the program?

This program is designed for leaders actively practicing—you need a real leadership context to run experiments and apply insights. If you're starting a new role during the program, that can actually accelerate your shift. If you're between roles, I offer 1-1 individual coaching, please contact me.

  • Is this suitable for first-time managers or more experienced leaders?

This is designed for strategic, high-performing individuals who are leading change (whether newly promoted or experienced) and finding that their individual contributor strengths aren't translating seamlessly into leadership influence. It's about the internal shift, not years of experience.

  • What if this isn't the right fit for me once I’ve started?

Your transformation matters to me. If you engage fully in the first two weeks and don't feel you're on track for meaningful change, I'll refund your investment (and free up your time).

About Me

My name is Erika Behl

I worked for 18 years in corporate, and my rapid rise through consulting, sales, and customer success came from being the person who could solve anything and see around corners strategically.

When I stepped into leadership, though,  those same instincts started sabotaging me. The harder I tried to be the hero, the more I created dependency in my team and friction with peers who needed to be influenced, not impressed.

Learning to step back and build heroes instead of being one was the hardest professional transformation I've made—and the most critical. Because it doesn't just limit your team's growth; it undermines your ability to influence and caps your own leadership potential.

Now, I partner with other leaders who want to make that same essential shift—from being the hero to building them—without losing what makes them exceptional.
